About this databaseRecent works in bacterial transcriptional network analysis reveal that transcriptional regulations are flexible and evolve rapidly. It is therefore important to construct reference databases on transcriptional regulation of multiple model organisms in addition to those of Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis. We constructed such a reference database, DBSCR, for Streptomyces coelicolor, a model organism producing antibiotics and its closest relatives. We also provide a motif search function based on weight matrices to detect potential transcription factor binding sites in sequences submitted by users. FAQ etc.Data volumeContact information
